Classically Chic.

We all know what a world wind year it has been for Kate Middelton.  Recap: In one year she has married a Prince, became the Duchess of Cambridge, moved into a Palace, and now quickly grabbing the title as the next fashion icon.  And I have to agree with the media and fans that her style is absolutely classic, fabulous, and oh so glamorously chic.  I would kill to have half of the things she has worn.  Some of my favorites include the Alexander McQueen dress she wore to the BAFTA awards, the American designer Diane Von Furstenburg stunning emerald green dress and the lacy blue Erdem Moralioglu dress.  These are all timeless and classic pieces that will never be out of style and are also accessible to many fashionistas!

Look for Less

This one doesn’t need much explanation about the difference in price, yet they are so similar. So I’m just going to lay it out there…$400 vs $4000.   You do the math!

I’ve Got the Blues

Make a bold statement in cobalt blue hues. This trend is rapidly growing, It can be seen everywhere from accessories, to shoes, to clothing.  And it’s not going anywhere, the vibrant color was all over the Fall 2011 runways. One celebrity that can’t get enough is Blake Lively, she has been wearing this color all through the summer. My favorite thing about this this hue is you can make it as showy as you want or you can keep it clean and simple by pairing it with neutrals. Feel it may be to bold for you?   Then try an accessory like a killer shoe or bag.

Blake Lively on the set of Gossip Girl, my favorite look of Serena all season!

Great use of color blocking with the suede magenta pumps!

If you feel like you can not pull off a dress, opt for cobalt blue accessories!

These Vincent Camuto shoes are a steal for $109, pair with denim, a black tank and a cocktail ring and you will be singing the blues!
We all know I love a MJ bag and this one is so stylish and chic!
One of the most easiest ways to add the blue trend to your wardrobe.  Tie around your neck or bag!

For the Go-Getter not the Gold Digger

I’m obsessed with the uber talented Lauren Monteagudo’s jewelry line, Au79. This is a must have for all you young female professionals out there, myself included!  The brands signature symbol, the shovel, represents empowerment and strength.  It is a symbol for women who work hard and get their own hands dirty to dig up what they want. You can already spot celebs sporting the line.  Check out a few of my favorite pieces below and a picture of myself and the designer at a launch party for line at the chic Sebastian James boutique.

Disaster of the Week

The talented Nicki Minaj is my pick as Disaster of the Week.  Below she is photographed at Sunday’s MTV Music Awards.  I was hoping someone would of out done her, but that has not happen!  She is just one hot mess!
