I wandered into the J.Crew on Madison yesterday to pick up a few pieces for my trip to Europe. While picking up the basics i.e. their Perfect- fit V- neck tee (yes it’s the perfect fit), their vintage denim jacket (one can’t have too many) and of course a white button down (because it goes with everything), I came across their Flared Surf Skirt and it needed to be in my suitcase stat! The structured bonded jersey mimics the look and feel of neoprene in this flirty flared silhouette. The best part is it doesn’t wrinkle so I can ball it up and throw it in my suit case and not have to worry about ironing when I need to throw it on. Let’s face the facts, I’m not an ironer! By the end of summer you may be sick of seeing all the pics of me wearing this skirt, but when you find an item that you can style in so many different ways it’s a must have for me.
