It’s that time of year again, I’m ready to pack away my summer threads and take out all my chunky knits, cashmere and coats. Then I walk outside and I’m quickly reminded that it’s not happening in Florida, especially South Florida. So now I’m left sifting through racks attempting to find something that will make me feel a bit more Fallish. HELP!! Cue the turtleneck. Keeping cool in a turtle neck is simple and chic. You can rock it with leather leggings or throw on a turtleneck crop top with a high waisted A-line skirt and be ready to take on the weekend. This past weekend I was visiting my hometown, Baton Rouge and had to make a pit stop at one of my favorite local boutiques, EDIT by LBP. Among the endless racks of everything I “needed” was the Ramy Brook Jayda Fringe Sweater. It was perfect for the 60 degree weather I was enjoying in Louisiana. Tip: In Florida I would do a lighter weight fabric. It’s this easy, effortless, comfy top that is taking over so make sure it gets into your closet.
