Wow! Getting the call to style Venus Williams was definitely one of the highlights of my career and all I could say to myself was, “Caitlin, don’t f*** this up!” Then the next thing I thought to myself was, “What the hell am I dressing this 6’1 beauty in?” After a few phone calls to my girlfriends to celebrate the good news and to share my anxiety of dressing the tall goddess I finally got to work. A few phone calls later and I was pulling an entire rack at Saks Boca Town Center. Fast forward and I was on set styling the winner of seven Grand Slam singles title, OMG!
Venus is quickly becoming a powerhouse interior designer and this spread was all about her collaboration with the Terra Group and designing the single family home development, Botaniko Weston. Venus and her team are designing the interiors of the one and two story homes, which range in size from five to seven bedrooms.
For the shoot she was going to be photographed outside with the concept being all white with a pop of color. So I pulled an amazing Roberto Cavalli Fringed Tiger Jacquard Sheath Dress and an eggplant suede Jimmy Choo pump. The next look was a white Parker maxi and Jimmy Choo agate fringe shoe, these really needed to end up in my closet, but our shoe size was a big difference. You can shop and see her full look below!
I had such a great time styling this tennis star and looking forward to what’s next in the styling world! To stay up to date with my styling adventures, tips and must haves don’t forget to subscribe to the blog:)
Stay Sauci,
