Lace, velvet, short, midi, off the shoulder, bell sleeve, the list goes on and the silhouette may change over time but one things for sure the LBD dress remains a necessity in any wardrobe. Audrey Hepburn made it famous in Breakfast At Tiffany’s and who can forget Nicole Richie back in 2007 showing up to court in that shoulder bearing LBD where she plead guilty to a DUI. Her dress made headlines and that was before Insta! So what makes the LBD a must have? For starters, it looks great on every shape and size, you can wear it almost anywhere (makes a great Halloween costume ie. witch, goth chic, black cat etc.) and every woman has there own. It’s the one thing in your wardrobe you can’t mess up. As Coco Chanel said, “When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place.”
